We are excited to announce that from 2nd August 2021 Cochrane’s Transport is operating its own Depot in Sampson Street, Port Pirie. The Sampson Street Depot location was operated by our previous Agent, Phil Noble, who has joined Cochrane’s as our new Port Pirie Depot Manager. Phil is a long term member of the Port Pirie community and we are pleased that he and his current team will continue providing quality service for Cochrane’s in Port Pirie.
Our plan is to build a new depot in Port Pirie with B-Triple access and sufficient space for future growth but this process will take 6 - 9 months to complete. Once the build has been completed our current depot staff and operations will move to the new depot location. Port Pirie and surrounds is a growing market for us and this new Depot joins Cochrane’s Transport operated facilities in Gillman, Port Augusta, and Whyalla and is a further demonstration of our ongoing commitment to Regional South Australia.
