Australia Post has shown its continued confidence in Cochrane’s by extending contracts to service the South East and North West lanes with a new long term contract.
Cochrane’s capacity to cope with growing and heavily seasonal volumes, as well as the unique complexities of return mail and site access challenges, was key to the decision. By managing the mail as part of a shared service with other compatible freight, Cochrane’s was able to effectively manage costs for Australia Post on even traditionally expensive and difficult lanes. With clever planning and management of resources, Cochrane’s ensures that country SA receives the same high level of service as the metropolitan area.
